Saturday 16. February. Performance with clowns Banana and Boppi Lopp; “This is mine!” The clowns Boppi Lopp og Banana perform a fun and adventures show. Welcome ! Time; 12.30 pm & 14 pm (Suitable for kids from 4 years).
Saturday February 16, Sunday February 17, Saturday February 23, Sunday February 24. Face painting at the Museum! Meet a face painter artist who can turn you into a lion, a tree or perhaps a monster or prince or princess? **Time 12 PM UNTIL 3.50 PM (approx)
Feb workshop 17.02., 24.02. The art workshops are a regular activity offered at the museum. The themes change monthly and on special occasions. The art workshops on Sundays are always led by staff at the museum. Feb theme: Pop Up Postcards ! We experiment with various paper craft material and different patterns and textures. Duration: 11.00-16.00
Explore the Museum on your own! The International Museum of Children’s Art consist of 3 floors filled with activities, games and international children’s art! In the basement you’ll find exerpts from the Museum’s permanent collection, with, amongst other things, contributions to the drawing competition issued by the Norwegian Post in connection with Norway’s 100 year Constitutional Anniversary. The Museum also has a drawing station where children can draw and do paper crafts weekdays, or participate in themed art workshops during the weekends. In the same room we have a selection of toys and books for the children to enjoy. At the reception you’ll find our Museum shop, where have a lot of fun toys, instruments, art equipment, and no less than 300 different postcards with designs from our collection.
